The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, goods, and services required for company operations. The role ensures timely availability of materials at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.

• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate terms.

• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) as per requirement.

• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, packing materials, and other supplies.

• Follow up with vendors for delivery schedules.

• Coordinate with store/warehouse for material receipt and verification.

• Ensure proper documentation such as PO, GRN, Invoice verification.

• Maintain updated records of purchases, pricing, and delivery details.

• Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement accordingly.

• Handle vendor payments coordination with accounts department.

• Maintain cost control and implement cost-saving strategies.

• Resolve issues related to quality, shortage, or delayed deliveries.

• Maintain MIS reports related to procurement and inventory.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate (B.Com / BBA / Any relevant field preferred).

• 2–5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.

• Knowledge of ERP/SAP systems.

• Basic understanding of GST and purchase documentation.

• Good negotiation and communication skills.
