Job Title: Purchase Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Purchase Manager in daily procurement activities.

• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) to suppliers.

• Compare quotations and prepare cost comparison sheets.

• Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials.

• Maintain purchase records, bills, GRN, and documentation.

• Coordinate with store/warehouse team for material requirements.

• Check material quality during receipt and report discrepancies.

• Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining optimum stock.

• Maintain vendor database with updated pricing and contacts.

• Support in negotiating price, payment terms, and delivery timelines.

• Handle basic Excel work (PO tracking, stock updates, and order status).

• Search and identify new vendors on field across different states for better quality, pricing, and supply options.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: Minimum 12th Pass / Graduate (any stream).

• 1–3 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement (Manufacturing preferred).

• Basic knowledge of hardware, sanitary ware, or industrial raw materials is an advantage.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Must be disciplined, detail-oriented, and responsible.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Email drafting, and documentation.

• Willing to travel if required for vendor sourcing.
