The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services required for company operations while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
Obtain quotations and compare prices, quality, and delivery schedules.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
Coordinate with project/site teams to understand material requirements.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
Monitor inventory levels and prevent material shortages.
Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.
Track order status and resolve supply-related issues.
Evaluate vendor performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Assist in cost-saving initiatives and procurement planning.
