We are looking for a Purchase Executive to join our team at Gnanam Engineering Private Limited. We are looking for a Purchase Executive to join our team at Gnanam Engineering Private Limited. The role involves responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services at the best value while ensuring quality, timely delivery, and compliance with company policies. The position offers a ₹15000 - ₹20000 salary.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors/suppliers
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate terms
Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely follow-up
Coordinate with stores, accounts, and project teams
Ensure material quality, quantity, and delivery schedules
Maintain purchase records and vendor database
Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages/excess
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (any discipline; supply chain preferred)
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Knowledge of ERP/MS Excel
Ability to work with vendors and internal teams
