We are hiring for Purchase Executive,
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Assistant to support our procurement activities. The ideal candidate should have sound experience in sourcing and purchasing SS, MS raw materials, and bought-out items, with good knowledge of local suppliers and market routes in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in sourcing and procurement of raw materials (SS, MS) and bought-out items.
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships with local suppliers.
Ensure timely procurement to meet production and project requirements.
Negotiate with suppliers for best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the stores/production team for requirements.
Handle purchase documentation including quotations, purchase orders, and follow-ups.
Support in vendor evaluation and maintaining purchase records.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement/purchase.
Strong knowledge of SS, MS raw materials, and related bought-out items.
Good knowledge of Chennai market routes and supplier base.
Must possess a valid two-wheeler with license for local supplier visits.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
