Key responsibilities include negotiating contracts, handling purchase orders, managing inventory levels, and maintaining compliance with safety standards.
Procurement & Sourcing: Procure plastic raw materials (polypropylene, polyethylene, PET, PVC), additives, and masterbatches from domestic and international suppliers.
Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
Inventory Management: Monitor raw material inventory levels, forecasting demand and preventing stockouts.
Documentation & Compliance: Create purchase orders, process bills (GRN), and maintain accurate vendor/inventory records in ERP systems (SAP, Tally).
Logistics & Coordination: Coordinate with warehouse, production, and accounts departments for on-time delivery and supplier payments.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Usually 1–5 years of procurement experience, specifically within the plastics, molding, or chemical industry.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of polymers, plastic granules, and masterbatches.
