Purchase Executive

Procurement:

• Identify and source spare parts for machinery like pumps, aerators, and filters.

• Purchase chemicals required

• for the treatment process, such as coagulants and flocculants.

• Order new equipment or upgrades as needed for plant improvements.

Vendor management:

• Visit vendors and suppliers to negotiate prices and manage relationships.

• Coordinate with the plant's stores and maintenance teams for spare parts procurement.

Logistics and coordination:

• Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of all ordered items.

• Coordinate the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

• Collaborate with operations and maintenance staff to understand their needs and prioritize purchases.

Administrative and record-keeping:

• Maintain accurate purchase records and update the procurement database.

• Track purchase budgets and control costs.

• Prepare monthly purchase reports for management.

Compliance:

• Ensure that all purchased items meet technical and safety specifications required for a wastewater treatment plant.

• Stay informed about the specific needs of the plant, including requirements for different treatment processes (STP, ETP, RO, etc.).
