Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement activities for mechanical, electrical, and production-related materials

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors

• Source quality materials at competitive pricing while ensuring timely delivery

• Conduct vendor evaluation, vendor development, and performance monitoring

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules

• Coordinate with production, quality, stores, and planning teams for procurement requirements

• Prepare RFQs, compare quotations, and finalize purchase orders

• Ensure inventory optimization and minimize procurement delays

• Monitor market trends, raw material pricing, and supplier capabilities

• Maintain procurement records, MIS reports, and documentation

• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards

Required Skills

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

• Knowledge of engineering materials, machining components, fabrication, tooling, or industrial consumables

• Understanding of procurement planning and supply chain processes

• Good analytical and cost optimization abilities

• ERP/SAP procurement handling experience preferred

• Strong communication and coordination skills

Qualification

• B.Tech / BE / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related Engineering field

• Additional certification in Supply Chain or Procurement will be an advantage

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, precision engineering, or industrial equipment industries

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

• Strong commercial understanding with technical procurement knowledge

• Result-oriented and capable of handling multiple vendors simultaneously
