Job description

As a Purchasing Executive Candidate will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers who can deliver quality products.

Your Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Identify, Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.

2. Ability for nicely negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms

3. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking

4. To ensure timely deliveries of ordered equipments.

5. Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.

6. Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.

7. PO report making & other documentation work.

8. Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.

9. Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.

10. Ability to work independently.

Desired Skills:

Category management, Project management, Relationship management, Negotiation skills, Analytical skills, Professionalism. Knowledge of related computer applications like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft office.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (Business Administration preferred).

• 1-3 years of experience in performing and managing Sourcing and procurement activities.  (experience in electrical industry will be an added advantage).
