Business Operations Manager — Industrial Gases

About the Role

The Business Operations Manager role provides direct exposure to the industrial gas business line in a rugged, hands-on operational environment.
This role focuses on maintaining, improving, and digitizing key business processes to streamline daily operations. You’ll gain broad exposure across accounts, billing, inventory management, sales coordination, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned business area.

• Manage accounts, billing, bookkeeping, and customer ledgers accurately and efficiently.

• Plan, monitor, and maintain gas inventory and material stocks.

• Handle sales inquiries and customer communications (phone, email, text, and in-person).

• Build and optimize digital systems and operational workflows for efficiency and transparency.

• Support online marketing activities and sales follow-ups.

• Conduct research and reporting, including proposals for process or performance improvements.

• Collaborate closely with Finance, Marketing, Strategy, and Demand & Capacity teams.

• Perform other operational or administrative duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (completed or pursuing) from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business, Management, Commerce, or related fields.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, bookkeeping, and Tally is a must.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple operational priorities effectively.

• Comfortable working in a rugged, industrial environment with hands-on exposure.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience or internship exposure in operations, supply chain, logistics, or business administration.

• Familiarity with digital tools such as Google Sheets, CRMs, or basic automation software.

• Understanding of inventory control and financial management principles.
