Core Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Management: Hire, train, mentor, and supervise service staff, technicians, or customer representatives.

• Operations Oversight: Manage day-to-day service workflows, set performance targets, and ensure efficient handling of service requests.

• Customer Relationship Management: Handle escalated customer complaints, resolve service-related issues, and work to maintain high customer retention.

• SLA & Metric Tracking: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)—such as response times and resolution rates—to ensure targets are met

• Process & Quality Improvement: Audit department operations, implement best practices (such as ITIL frameworks in technical settings), and drive continuous workflow optimization.

• Budget & Resource Management: Oversee departmental budgets, manage vendor or supplier relationships, and ensure proper allocation of tools and staff.

• Reporting: Prepare and present performance, financial, and activity reports to senior management.
