The Ticketing Executive is responsible for handling end-to-end airline ticketing operations including booking, re-issuance, cancellations, refunds, and coordination with airlines and internal teams. The role requires accuracy, speed, and strong coordination skills to ensure smooth travel arrangements for clients.
Handle domestic and international air ticket bookings as per client and sales team requirements.
Issue, reissue, cancel, and refund air tickets in compliance with airline rules and fare conditions.
Ensure correct passenger details, travel dates, routing, baggage, and fare rules before ticket issuance.
Monitor PNR status and ensure timely ticket issuance to avoid auto-cancellation.
Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Purchase, and Accounts teams for booking confirmations and payment alignment.
Communicate with airlines, GDS support, and consolidators for fare checks, special requests, and escalations.
Support operations team during live trips for ticket-related changes or emergencies.
Maintain proper ticketing records, PNR details, invoices, and fare breakup.
Ensure compliance with airline policies, company SOPs, and audit requirements.
Share ticket copies, baggage rules, and airline policies with clients in a timely manner.
Respond promptly and professionally to client queries related to ticketing.
Provide accurate information regarding fare rules, cancellation charges, and rescheduling policies.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through clear communication and quick resolution.
Check and compare fares to ensure best available pricing before confirmation.
Avoid booking errors and ensure zero revenue leakage due to incorrect ticketing.
Escalate any discrepancy or risk immediately to the reporting manager.
GDS systems (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre – preferred)
Airline portals and consolidator platforms
Email, WhatsApp, CRM, and internal tracking sheets
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Good communication and coordination skills
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Graduate or equivalent qualification
Candidates from the Tour & Travel industry will be preferred
Hands-on experience with GDS systems preferred
Good English typing speed and accuracy is mandatory
