Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate daily shipment pickup, booking, loading, unloading, and delivery activities.

2. Monitor the movement and status of shipments and ensure timely delivery.

3. Coordinate with drivers, transporters, customers, and branch teams for smooth operations.

4. Prepare and maintain shipment-related records, documents, and operational reports.

5. Verify shipment details, quantity, weight, destination, and other relevant information.

6. Follow up on pending, delayed, short, excess, or damaged shipments and report issues to the concerned supervisor.

7. Coordinate vehicle placement and ensure timely reporting of vehicles for loading and unloading.

8. Assist in preparing and checking delivery documents, PODs, challans, manifests, and other operational documents.

9. Ensure timely collection and submission of PODs and other required documents.

10. Maintain proper records of daily operations and update the concerned systems/registers.

11. Coordinate with accounts and other departments regarding operational requirements and documentation.

12. Handle customer and branch queries related to shipment status and operational issues.

13. Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety procedures.

14. Identify operational issues and escalate them to the Operations Manager / Branch In-charge.

15. Perform any other operational duties assigned by the management.
