Job Description – MIS Executive

Position: MIS Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible MIS Executive to manage daily MIS activities, prepare reports, maintain operational data, and provide accurate information to the management and different departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.

• Collect, verify, and consolidate data from different branches and departments.

• Maintain and update Excel sheets and databases regularly.

• Track vehicle movement, shipment status, delivery status, and pending activities.

• Prepare reports related to LRs, PODs, billing, outstanding payments, vehicle tracking, and operations.

• Coordinate with operations, accounts, and branch teams for data collection and verification.

• Monitor pending PODs and follow up with concerned teams for timely submission.

• Maintain customer-wise and branch-wise data and reports.

• Identify data discrepancies and coordinate with the concerned team for correction.

• Prepare management reports and dashboards as required.

• Maintain proper records and ensure timely submission of reports.

• Support the accounts and operations teams with required data and reports.

• Perform data analysis and provide relevant information to management.

• Handle any other MIS-related activities assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets.

• Knowledge of VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF/SUMIFS, COUNTIF/COUNTIFS, IF formulas, etc.

• Good data-entry and data-management skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work with large amounts of data.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of logistics/transportation operations will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

• Any Graduate degree.

• Candidates with a background in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields are preferred.

Preferred Candidate

• 1–3 years of experience in MIS, logistics, operations, or a similar role.

• Experience in the transportation/logistics industry will be an advantage.

• Should be comfortable working with Excel and handling multiple reports.

• Should be able to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.

Key Performance Areas (KPIs)

• Accuracy of MIS reports.

• Timely submission of daily/monthly reports.

• Data accuracy and reconciliation.

• Timely follow-up on pending operational data.

• Proper maintenance of records and databases.

• Responsiveness to management and department requirements.

• It is a Full Time బ్యాక్ ఆఫీస్ / డేటా ఎంట్రీ job for candidates with 0 - 6 months of experience.
