About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draughtsman to join our Design & Technical team. The candidate will assist in preparing engineering drawings and technical documentation for mechanical equipment and material handling systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD as per instructions from senior engineers.

• Assist in preparing mechanical drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and detailed component drawings.

• Make drawing modifications and revisions based on feedback from the Design & Technical team.

• Ensure drawings follow company standards, dimensions, tolerances, and drafting practices.

• Maintain proper documentation and records of drawings.

• Coordinate with design engineers and other departments to understand drawing requirements.

• Assist in preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and other technical documents, as required.

• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of assigned drawings.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.

• Understanding of engineering drawing principles, dimensions, and basic geometric concepts.

• Basic knowledge of mechanical components and manufacturing processes is preferred.

• Familiarity with MS Office and basic computer operations.

• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 3D or any 3D modelling software.

• Understanding of fabrication drawings and mechanical assembly drawings.
