Role Overview Position: Sr. E-commerce Executive– Snack Foods Location: Ahmedabad Salary: Competent. Reports to: Sales Head – Omni Channel Purpose: Support role to manage day-to-day e-commerce and marketplace operations for snack products so the Sales Head can focus on strategy, key accounts, and overall business growth. Key Responsibilities Platform & Catalogue Management List and maintain all snack SKUs (, RTF/RTE snacks, etc.) on Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, D2C website and related new entrants. Ensure accurate titles, images, descriptions, nutritional info, FSSAI details, GST/HSN, combo details and pack sizes. Regularly audit product pages, correct mismatches, and maintain category & keyword hygiene. Pricing, Promotions & Visibility Implement pricing, discounts, schemes, and combos as per selling strategy and trade calendar shared by Sales Head. Set up coupons, deals, festival offers, “value packs” and snack bundles; track impact on sales and margin. Coordinate basic ad campaigns (sponsored products, deals visibility) with agency or internal team. Operations & Inventory Coordination Coordinate with warehouse and logistics to ensure adequate stock availability across FCs and marketplaces. Track fill rate, out-of-stock, expiry/near-expiry snacks, and returns; escalate issues quickly. Maintain ASIN/SKU mapping, barcodes, packaging changes and ensure consistency across channels. Ensure collection of indirect supply claims and submission to accounts and coordinate timely disbursal of Credit Notes as per timelines. Reporting & Analytics Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales and inventory reports in Excel/Google Sheets. Track top SKUs, non-moving SKUs, top cities, repeat orders, return reasons and rating trends. Share simple, actionable insights with Sales Head (e.g., “run offer on XYZ flavour in West”, “reduce stock of slow-moving pack size”). Brand Building & Content Coordinate lifestyle images, snack-time usage shots, A+ content and banners with design/agency. Keep brand stores and storefronts updated with latest snack ranges, new launches and seasonal campaigns. Monitor reviews and ratings; reply to key reviews and route quality complaints internally. Cross-Channel Support (MT/GT/HoReCa/Wholesale) Provide portal-wise and city-wise data that can help GT and MT planning and schemes. Support listing and visibility requirements of large modern trade chains’ e-commerce arms. Help prepare simple decks or summaries for internal and distributor review meetings. Candidate Profile Education Graduate in any discipline; PG/MBA in Marketing/E-commerce preferred but not mandatory. Experience 1–3 years of hands-on e-commerce / marketplace operations experience. FMCG/snack/food category experience preferred; experience with at least 2–3 marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, etc.). Skills Good Excel/Google Sheets skills (filters, lookups, pivots, basic charts). Comfortable using seller/vendor panels for listings, pricing, inventory and reports. Basic understanding of digital marketing metrics (traffic, conversion, ROAS) is an added plus. Strong coordination and follow-up skills with internal teams, warehouses and platform managers. Personal Attributes (resourceful and “handy”) Ownership mindset: treats e-commerce as “own shop” and doesn’t wait for instructions for routine tasks. Problem-solver: finds practical solutions when there are listing, logistics or pricing issues. Detail-oriented, fast learner, comfortable with numbers and repetitive operational work. Flexible to visit warehouse, distributors or modern trade stores in Ahmedabad when required. Reporting & KPIs Reports to: Sales Head – Omni Channel as a competent deck hand. Key KPIs: Accuracy & completeness of listings. Stock availability / out-of-stock incidents on key SKUs. Category sales growth vs plan on each platform (supporting, not owning P&L). Returns %, ratings & reviews health. Timeliness and quality of MIS and action points.
