Key Responsibilities and Duties
Data Entry/Typing: Transferring text from paper, physical documents, images (JPG), or PDF files into digital formats.
Proofreading: Reviewing typed content for errors, ensuring accuracy, and correcting grammar or spelling mistakes.
Formatting: Formatting documents to meet specific guidelines, such as creating reports, tables, or presentations.
File Management: Naming, organizing, and maintaining electronic and physical filing systems.
Confidentiality: Maintaining data privacy when handling sensitive documents.
Common Requirements
Typing Speed/Accuracy: Generally, a typing speed of 30-35 words per minute (WPM) is expected, along with high accuracy.
Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) or Google Workspace.
Experience: Previous experience as a typist, data entry clerk, or administrative assistant is often preferred.
Education: 12th pass
