Key Responsibilities:

• Assess creditworthiness of prospective borrowers based on internal credit policies and risk parameters.

• Analyze financial documents, bank statements, and credit reports to make informed lending decisions.

• Conduct field visits or tele-verifications to verify customer details where necessary.

• Collaborate with sales and operations teams for smooth loan processing and timely disbursal.

• Monitor post-disbursal portfolio performance and flag early warning signs.

• Maintain detailed records of loan applications, decisions, and related documentation.

• Adhere to internal credit policies, compliance norms, and regulatory guidelines.

• Provide feedback for continuous improvement in the credit underwriting process.

Candidate Requirements:

• 6 months to 3 years of experience in credit underwriting, loan processing, or risk assessment, preferably in an NBFC.

• Graduate in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of lending products such as personal loans, business loans, or SME loans.

• Familiarity with credit bureau reports (CIBIL, CRIF, etc.) and financial ratios.

• Proficient in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.

• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and decision-making ability.

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
