As a Biz Ops, Manager you are instrumental in the company’s supply chain, overseeing the entire flow of materials and finished goods—from purchase‑order routing through warehousing, inventory control, shipment documentation, and final delivery. You ensure accuracy of orders and shipping paperwork, coordinate with carriers and internal teams to schedule pickups and deliveries, track orders in transit, resolve any discrepancies or delays, and maintain up‑to‑date inventory and billing records. Strong communication skills, attention to detail is essential along with rigorous followups. You will be supported with a packaging and PO tracking executive.
You will report to the founder of the Company. As an early stage company, this is an extremely critical responsibility that has the founders full focus. With a growth rate of 50% YoY, this is a function whose team size will grow and therefore presents a strong team management path.
Core Responsibilities
• Shipment Coordination: Schedule and monitor outbound and inbound shipments, prepare bills of lading and invoices, and troubleshoot any transportation issues
• Order & Documentation Accuracy: Verify order details, packing lists, and shipping documents to prevent errors and ensure regulatory compliance
• Inventory Management: Track stock levels using IT or WMS systems, maintain daily inward/outward registers, conduct periodic cycle counts, and update records
• Communication & Liaison: Act as the point of contact between procurement, production, warehouse, carriers, and customers—facilitating smooth information flow and timely issue resolution
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve shipment delays, carrier disputes, inventory discrepancies, and order‑fulfillment challenges, often under tight time constraints

• Organisational & Multitasking Abilities: Managing numerous shipments, orders, and documentation simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring all paperwork (invoices, bills of lading, tracking logs) is error‑free and compliant with company and legal standards
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Liaising effectively with internal teams, carriers, and external customers to coordinate schedules and address inquiries
• Basic Accounting/Bookkeeping: Handling expense sheets, credit notes, and payment‑status tracking to support finance teams
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with logistics or ERP software for order entry, inventory tracking, and shipment scheduling
