Poindexters Lab Inc is a technology-driven company based in Toronto, specializing in Security, DevOps, Infrastructure Support, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace solutions. In addition to technology services, we support sports analytics and digital score management for competitive basketball leagues.

We are expanding our remote scoring operations and are looking for detail-oriented basketball enthusiasts to join our team.

Job Overview

We are hiring 15 Remote Basketball Score Managers to review recorded basketball matches and accurately update scores and match-related statistics in our scoring application for the TCBL League.

This is a remote, flexible, task-based role that requires discipline, accuracy, and adherence to timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Watch recorded basketball match videos (Veo / YouTube).

• Accurately enter:

  • Game scores

  • Match events and statistics (as defined in our scoring app)

• Follow official basketball rules and scoring standards.

• Carefully review footage to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Communicate with team leads for any clarifications or discrepancies.

• Saturday match videos must be fully completed by Monday.

• Sunday match videos must be fully completed by Thursday.

• Meet assigned daily and weekly match completion targets.

Availability & Working Hours

• Availability is mandatory from Sunday to Thursday

• Working hours are flexible, as long as assigned matches are completed within deadlines

• Work is entirely remote

Mandatory Requirements (Read Carefully)

• Laptop/Desktop is compulsory (mobile-only candidates will not be considered).

• Broadband / high-speed internet connection is mandatory.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on video-based work.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Comfortable using web-based scoring applications.

• Good communication skills for remote coordination.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Good understanding of basketball rules and scoring.

• Prior experience with basketball scorekeeping is an advantage (not mandatory).

• Reliable and consistent availability from Sunday to Thursday.

Compensation & Payout Details

• ₹250 per match

• More than 5 matches in a single day: ₹350 per additional match

• This is a freelance / task-based role

Important Notes

• High accuracy is critical; repeated errors may lead to removal from the project.

• Candidates must be comfortable watching full match recordings.

• Deadlines are strict and non-negotiable.

• Training and detailed scoring guidelines will be shared after selection.

• Only 15 candidates will be hired.
