Job Title: Store Assistant – Broadcast Media
Role Overview:
The Store Assistant in Broadcast Media supports the management, storage, and distribution of technical equipment and materials used in television, radio, or digital broadcasting. The role ensures that all broadcast assets are properly logged, maintained, and available to production and engineering teams as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record broadcast equipment such as cameras, lenses, microphones, lighting, cables, and accessories
Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or asset management systems
Issue and collect equipment for productions, outside broadcasts, and studio operations
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of all technical assets
Perform basic checks on equipment condition and report faults or damages
Coordinate with engineering, production, and operations teams regarding equipment availability
Assist in packing, loading, and unloading equipment for field or OB shoots
Follow safety, handling, and security procedures for high-value broadcast equipment
Support periodic stock audits and inventory reconciliation
