Assistant Operations Manager

Job Title: Assistant Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle and coordinate driver calls on a daily basis.

- Monitor vehicle movements and provide operational support.

- Assist the Operations Manager in fleet management and vehicle allocation.

- Maintain communication with drivers regarding loading, unloading, route updates, and delivery status.

- Track vehicle availability and ensure timely dispatch of vehicles.

- Prepare and maintain operational records and reports.

- Coordinate with customers, transporters, and internal teams for smooth operations.

- Resolve day-to-day operational issues and escalate critical matters to the Operations Manager.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation procedures.

Requirements:

- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

- Basic knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and email communication.

- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
