We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of materials, products, and services required for our furnishing and interior-related operations. The position will be responsible for developing reliable suppliers, negotiating competitive commercial terms, maintaining optimum inventory levels, and ensuring timely availability of materials without compromising quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business and operational requirements.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers for furniture, furnishing, upholstery, décor, hardware, fabrics, and related materials.

• Obtain and analyze quotations, compare commercial terms, and negotiate competitive prices.

• Manage purchase orders from requirement generation through delivery and closure.

• Ensure timely procurement of materials according to required specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules.

• Coordinate with production, projects, design, warehouse, finance, and quality teams to understand procurement requirements.

• Maintain effective relationships with existing suppliers and continuously develop alternate sources.

• Monitor market prices, availability, trends, and new materials relevant to the furnishing industry.

• Control procurement costs through effective negotiation, sourcing, bulk purchasing, and supplier development.

• Ensure purchased materials conform to approved samples, specifications, and quality standards.

• Follow up on pending orders, delayed deliveries, material shortages, and supplier issues.

• Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier documentation, quotations, purchase orders, and commercial agreements.

• Support management with procurement reports, cost analysis, supplier evaluations, and savings initiatives.

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approval procedures, and applicable commercial requirements.
