Role: Procurement Engineer – Techno-Commercial

Industry: Engineering & Manufacturing

Experience: 2–5 Years

We are looking for a technically strong Procurement Engineer to manage procurement and material coordination for manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material planning based on BOM, drawings & project schedules

• RFQ, quotation comparison & techno-commercial evaluation

• PO preparation & placement

• Supplier coordination and delivery follow-up

• Incoming material coordination with stores/quality

• Project-wise material planning & scheduling

• Outward material dispatch & logistics coordination

• Supplier negotiation on price, delivery & terms

• Procurement tracking and project status reporting

Must Have:

✅ Good understanding of mechanical components, fabrication & manufacturing

✅ Strong Excel and documentation skills

✅ Good supplier follow-up and negotiation skills

✅ Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production Engineering preferred

Ideal candidate: A hands-on engineer who can understand the technical requirement, communicate with suppliers, verify materials and ensure timely availability for projects.
