Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Understand client requirements, preferences, and budget through meetings
Develop design concepts, layouts, mood boards, and 2D/3D drawings
Create detailed working drawings using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.
Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor elements
Coordinate with in-house manufacturing team for execution
Visit sites regularly to monitor work progress and ensure design accuracy
Manage vendors, contractors, carpenters, and other stakeholders
Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and timelines for projects
Ensure projects are completed within deadlines and budget
Handle client presentations and approvals
Resolve design or execution issues during project lifecycle

Interior designers are also responsible for supervising execution and ensuring designs align with safety, functionality, and client expectations.
