Interior Designer – Key Responsibilities

• Meet clients to understand their design requirements, preferences, and budget.

• Develop creative interior design concepts, layouts, and space planning.

• Prepare 2D/3D designs, mood boards, and presentations using design software.

• Create detailed drawings, BOQs, and material specifications.

• Select furniture, lighting, colors, finishes, fabrics, and décor elements.

• Coordinate with architects, vendors, contractors, and project teams.

• Visit project sites to monitor progress and ensure design execution as planned.

• Ensure projects are completed within timelines and budget.

• Resolve on-site design and execution issues.

• Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, materials, and technologies.

• Maintain project documentation, client approvals, and design revisions.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Revit, or similar design software

• Strong space planning and visualization skills

• Excellent creativity and attention to detail

• Good communication and client handling skills

• Project coordination and time management

• Knowledge of materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
