We Are Hiring An Architectural Draughtsman

Job Description:
An architectural draughtsman (or architectural drafter) translates conceptual sketches, notes, and designs from architects and engineers into precise 2D and 3D technical drawings, blueprints, and Good For Construction (GFC) documentation.

Experience: 02-04 Years In Architectural Draughtsmanship

Qualification: ITI In Architectural Draughtsmanship or Related Certificate

Salary: Rs.20,000/- To Rs.30,000/- Per Month.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

Technical Drawing & Drafting: Develop accurate floor plans, elevations, sections, ceiling layouts, and detailed construction drawings using CAD/BIM tools.
Design Translation: Convert rough hand sketches or preliminary concepts into buildable, scaled digital blueprints.
Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with structural, electrical, and mechanical/plumbing (MEP) consultants to resolve design clashes.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all plans adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and municipal rules (such as Development Control and Promotion Regulations [DCPR] in local Indian markets).
Revisions & Version Control: Update drawings based on feedback from principal architects, site engineers, and clients, and manage "As-Built" drawings.
Site & Material Support: Conduct occasional site measurements, review shop drawings from contractors, and assist with basic quantity take-offs or BOQ (Bill of Quantities) coordination.

Key Requirements:

Software Proficiency: Strong command over CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, and SketchUp.
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of architectural symbols, construction methods, scale measurements, and detailing.
Experience: Typically ranges from entry-level (with certified drafting training) to 2+ years of hands-on experience in architectural or interior working drawings.
