Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Execution: Monitor day-to-day civil construction work (excavation, steel reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, brickwork, and plastering) as per structural and architectural drawings.

• Workforce & Contractor Management: Assign daily tasks to site laborers, masons, and sub-contractors; track labor productivity and maintain attendance/labor registers.

• Material & Inventory Control: Requisition construction materials (cement, sand, aggregate, steel), check incoming quality and quantities, and minimize on-site material wastage.

• Quality Assurance (QA/QC): Conduct field checks including slump tests, concrete cube casting and testing, curing tracking, and deshuttering timelines.

• Safety Compliance: Enforce site safety rules (use of PPE, scaffolding safety, excavation precautions) and prevent hazards.

• Reporting & Coordination: Coordinate with site engineers and project managers, update daily progress reports, and highlight delays or site discrepancies immediately.
