Job Description – Civil Draughtsman (Civil Engineer)

Position: Civil Draughtsman (Civil Engineer)
Industry: Construction
Experience: 1–3 Years
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Job Location: Telibandha, Raipur

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D civil drawings using AutoCAD.

• Draft architectural, structural, and site layout drawings as per project requirements.

• Revise and update drawings based on engineer and client feedback.

• Prepare working drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.

• Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, and site supervisors for drawing accuracy.

• Prepare BOQs and assist in quantity estimation.

• Maintain drawing records, revisions, and technical documentation.

• Ensure drawings comply with applicable standards, specifications, and project guidelines.

• Support the project team with technical drafting and design modifications.

• Visit project sites when required to verify dimensions and update drawings.

Qualification

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or ITI/Diploma in Civil Draftsmanship.

Preferred Candidate

• 1–3 years of experience in civil drafting or construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and civil engineering drawings.

• Ability to prepare accurate technical drawings and coordinate with project teams.

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
