Draughtsman – Job Description

Job Title: Draughtsman

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Draughtsman to prepare accurate architectural and construction drawings. The candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, and site teams to convert designs into detailed working drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D architectural and construction drawings using AutoCAD.

• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.

• Prepare working drawings as per project requirements.

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and site teams.

• Make revisions and modifications based on project requirements.

• Ensure drawings are accurate and follow construction standards.

• Assist with site measurements and drawing verification.

• Maintain and organize project drawings and documentation.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Knowledge of architectural and construction drawings.

• Understanding of floor plans, elevations, and sections.

• Basic knowledge of building construction and materials.

• Knowledge of Revit/SketchUp is an added advantage.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Preferred: 6 months to 2 Years of experience in residential/commercial construction.
