Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Billing Engineer to handle project billing, quantity verification, contractor bill certification, and cost monitoring for Commercial and Residential Interior projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Interior billing, BOQ, rate analysis, reconciliation, and coordination with the site, accounts, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and verify RA bills, contractor bills, and client bills.

Check and certify quantities executed at the site as per drawings and BOQ.

Prepare bill abstracts, variation statements, and cost reports.

Monitor work progress, billing, and ensure timely submission.

Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, contractors, and the accounts team.

Verify material reconciliation, such as cement, steel, and other key materials.

Review sub-contractor bills and ensure accuracy as per work completed.

Maintain records of measurements, billing documents, and payment status.

Assist in rate analysis, extra item approvals, and final bill settlement.

Ensure compliance with contract terms, project budget, and company billing procedures.

Support management with MIS reports and project cost tracking.

Handle finalization of bills at the project completion stage.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of billing engineering, BOQ, estimation, and quantity surveying

Good understanding of construction drawings

Knowledge of rate analysis and material reconciliation

Experience in contractor billing and client billing

Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software

Good coordination and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple project billing tasks efficiently

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering

Relevant experience in Commercial and Residential Interior projects

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in residential, commercial, or township Interior Projects

Strong knowledge of site measurement and billing documentation

Ability to work under deadlines and manage billing accuracy

Good analytical and reporting skills
