AutoCAD Designer

Job Title: Designer– Interior Design & Woodworking (AutoCAD)

Location: Hettich Poddar Woodworking Institute
Experience: 2–5 Years (Preferred)
Industry: Interior Design / Furniture Design / Woodworking Training

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver training sessions on Interior Design, Layout Planning, and Furniture Design concepts.

• Train students in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Drafting for interior and furniture layouts.

• Teach technical drawings and woodworking design fundamentals.

• Guide students in quantity assessment and material estimation for furniture/interior projects.

• Develop practical assignments and projects related to woodworking and interior design.

• Ensure students understand layout planning and space utilization.

• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.

• Maintain training documentation and course materials.

• Support institute activities such as workshops, demonstrations, and skill development programs.

Required Skills

• Strong Training and Presentation Skills

• Knowledge of Interior Designing and Layout Design

• Proficiency in AutoCAD & AutoCAD Drafting

• Understanding of Technical Drawings and Furniture Layouts

• Knowledge of Quantity Assessment / Material Estimation

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Background

• Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Furniture Design, or related field

• Experience in woodworking, modular furniture, or interior projects will be an added advantage.

• Prior teaching or training experience is preferred.
