Job Title: AutoCAD Operator / Draftsman

Reporting To: Project Manager / Engineering Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Operator / Draftsman to support the preparation, modification, updating and maintenance of technical drawings and engineering documentation for projects related to the Mumbai DRM Office.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings as per project requirements.
Update existing drawings based on site measurements and instructions.
Prepare layout plans, technical drawings and working drawings.
Maintain proper drawing standards, layers, dimensions, scales and revisions.
Coordinate with engineers, project managers and site teams.
Incorporate corrections and revisions in drawings.
Maintain drawing records and technical documentation.
Ensure drawings are accurate and completed within project timelines.
Support site visits for measurements and drawing verification when required.
Maintain proper filing and version control of AutoCAD drawings.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
Ability to read and understand engineering/technical drawings.
Good knowledge of dimensions, scales, layers and drawing standards.
Basic knowledge of MS Office.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Drafting or relevant qualification.
Relevant AutoCAD certification will be an advantage.
Experience
1–3 years of relevant AutoCAD drafting experience preferred.
Freshers with strong AutoCAD skills may also be considered.
Preferred
Experience working on Railway / Government / Infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
Candidate should be willing to work from the Mumbai DRM Office.
