Assistant Production Manager – Residential Interior Sites

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and responsible Assistant Project Manager to manage the execution of residential interior projects. The candidate will coordinate with clients, installation teams, vendors, and internal departments to ensure projects are completed on time, with quality, and as per approved drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day execution of residential interior projects.

• Study work orders, drawings, project schedules, and dispatch plans.

• Take and verify site measurements before installation.

• Mark electrical, plumbing, and gas points accurately as per drawings.

• Coordinate with clients, Interior Designers, Project Managers, vendors, and installation teams.

• Plan and assign daily activities to installation teams and subcontractors.

• Ensure site readiness before material delivery and installation.

• Cross-check materials received at site against the work order and material checklist.

• Monitor installation progress and ensure work is completed as per schedule.

• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.

• Identify and resolve site-related technical and execution issues.

• Maintain project schedules and provide regular progress updates to the reporting manager.

• Coordinate for required manpower, materials, and resources at the site.

• Ensure proper workmanship, safety, cleanliness, and discipline at project sites.

• Maintain good relationships with clients and address their site-related concerns professionally.

• Coordinate and facilitate part-payment and final-payment collection as per project milestones.

• Complete snag rectification and ensure smooth project handover.

• Collect client satisfaction reports and support collection of Google/Facebook reviews after completion.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of residential interior execution and site management.

• Good leadership and team coordination skills.

• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.

• Ability to manage multiple activities and meet project timelines.

• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Knowledge of modular furniture/interior installation will be an added advantage.

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office is preferred.

Qualification & Experience

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred.

• Experience: 1–3 years in residential interiors, or related site execution.

• Candidates with hands-on experience in modular interiors / home interiors will be preferred.
