Position: Architect

Qualification

• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from a recognized institution.

Experience

• Fresher or up to 1+ years of experience in an Architectural Design firm.

Essential Software Skill

Candidates should have good working knowledge of:

• AutoCAD

• SketchUp

• Adobe Photoshop

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

• At least one rendering software

Key Responsibilities

a) Architectural & Interior Design

Develop innovative design concepts based on client requirements.

Prepare space planning, layouts, concept designs, mood boards and presentation drawings.

Produce design development drawings and presentation material.

b) Technical Documentation

Prepare detailed architectural drawings including:

• Floor Plans

• Elevations

• Sections

• Working Drawings

• Construction Details

• Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).

• Coordinate drawings with structural and MEP consultants.

c) Material & Product Selection

Research and specify suitable materials, finishes, lighting fixtures, furniture and architectural products with the help of the Principal Architect.

Ensure selections meet design intent, functionality, quality and project budget.

d) Client Coordination

Participate in client meetings and presentations.

Understand client requirements and translate them into practical design solutions.

Incorporate feedback and revisions while maintaining design quality.

e) Site Coordination & Supervision

Coordinate with contractors, vendors and site execution teams.

Work closely with clients and consultants during project execution.

Conduct periodic site visits to monitor progress and ensure the design is executed as intended.

Resolve site-related design and technical issues promptly.

f) Project Management

Handle multiple projects across different stages.

Ensure timely delivery of drawings and project milestones.

Maintain project documentation and adhere to office standards.
