Senior Architect & Interior Designer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and creative Senior Architect & Interior Designer to lead architectural and interior design projects from concept development to final execution. The candidate will be responsible for design development, working drawings, material selection, client coordination, consultant coordination, and site execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complete architectural and interior design projects from concept to completion.

• Develop innovative architectural concepts, space planning, and interior design proposals according to client requirements.

• Prepare detailed architectural, interior, furniture, ceiling, flooring, electrical, lighting, and joinery drawings.

• Prepare and review working drawings, construction details, elevations, sections, and layouts.

• Develop interior concepts including false ceiling, flooring, wall finishes, furniture layouts, wardrobes, kitchens, reception areas, and custom joinery.

• Select and specify suitable materials, finishes, fixtures, furniture, colors, and lighting.

• Coordinate with structural, MEP, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other consultants.

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure proper execution of designs.

• Conduct regular site visits and monitor work according to approved drawings, specifications, and design standards.

• Review shop drawings, material samples, mock-ups, and technical submissions.

• Identify site-related design and execution issues and provide practical technical solutions.

• Prepare BOQ, material specifications, and support cost estimation where required.

• Attend client meetings, presentations, design reviews, and site coordination meetings.

• Understand client requirements and convert them into functional and aesthetically strong design solutions.

• Manage project schedules, design deliverables, and drawing submissions.

• Supervise and guide junior architects, interior designers, and drafting teams.

• Ensure projects comply with applicable building codes, regulations, safety requirements, and quality standards.

• Maintain proper project documentation and ensure drawings are issued accurately and on time.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture / Interior Design.

• 8–12+ years of relevant experience in architecture and interior design.

• Strong experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, corporate office, retail, or luxury interior projects.

• Excellent knowledge of architectural construction and interior execution.

• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, ceiling, flooring, and joinery.

• Good knowledge of site execution and construction detailing.

Experience

8–12+ years of professional experience in Architecture & Interior Design, with strong knowledge of design development and site execution.

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Sector 81 Faridabad

Salary : 50000 to 70000 (depending upon the candidate's experience and capability. Add good communication skills and proficiency in English too )
