Job Description:

We are looking to hire a skilled 2D Designer to join our interior design team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD, have hands-on experience with interior design projects, and be capable of independently handling site measurements and drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Prepare detailed 2D drawings including layouts, elevations, sections, and working drawings using AutoCAD

2. Visit project sites to take accurate measurements independently, without supervision

3. Translate site measurements into precise drawings

4. Assist in day-to-day design and drafting requirements of the interior design firm

5. Coordinate with designers, site teams, and vendors as required

6. Make revisions and updates to drawings based on project needs

7. Maintain basic project data, measurements, and schedules using Excel

8. Communicate clearly with internal teams and clients when required

9. Required Skills & Qualifications

10. Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)

11. Prior experience working in an interior design firm

12. Strong understanding of interior layouts, dimensions, and detailing

13. Ability to take accurate site measurements independently

14. Basic working knowledge of MS Excel

15. Good communication skills in English (verbal and written)

16. Fast learner with a proactive attitude

17. Good organizational and time-management skills

18. Attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred

19. Experience in residential and/or commercial interior projects

20. Familiarity with basic construction methods and materials
