Trade Finance Operations Executive

Operations Team Member-WBG OPERATIONS (OPS)-Trade Finance Operations Role Purpose To provide customer service and operational support for Trade Finance transactions, ensuring timely resolution of customer queries, accurate processing, and adherence to bank policies and regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities Handle customer queries related to Trade Finance products such as Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Import/Export Bills, and Collections. Coordinate with internal teams and branches for transaction processing and issue resolution. Track customer requests and ensure timely closure within defined service levels. Support document verification and maintain operational records. Respond to client emails and calls professionally and promptly. Escalate critical issues to senior team members when required. Ensure compliance with internal policies, operational guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality. Eligibility Graduate in Commerce, Management, Banking, Finance, or any related discipline. Freshers are welcome to apply. Basic knowledge of Banking and Trade Finance will be an added advantage. Required Skills Good communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-centric approach. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. Willingness to learn Trade Finance products and processes. Coordinate with CPC for transaction processing and discrepancy resolution. Liaise with various business groups within the bank for operational support. Ensure error-free and timely execution of trade transactions. Adhere to compliance and internal operational guidelines. Coordinate with clients and correspondent banks to resolve queries raised by Trade Finance/CMS Operations. Issue Letters of Credit and ensure proper documentation. Conduct initial scrutiny of trade documents before forwarding to CPC for processing. Attend to front-end requirements of corporate customers. Coordinate with CPC, CMS, and Clearing teams to ensure timely delivery of customer requirements. Ensure all transactions are processed within agreed turnaround times (TAT). Maintain familiarity with Trade Finance and CMS products. Experience Level Senior Level
