Job Title: Billing Operator

Job Summary:

A Billing Operator is responsible for preparing invoices, maintaining billing records, and ensuring accurate financial transactions. The role requires attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and proficiency in billing software.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate and process invoices accurately and timely

Maintain billing records and update customer data

Verify billing data and resolve discrepancies

Coordinate with sales and accounts departments

Handle customer queries related to billing

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly billing reports

Ensure compliance with company policies and GST regulations

Maintain proper documentation and filing

Required Skills:

Basic knowledge of accounting and billing procedures

Familiarity with GST and invoicing

Proficiency in MS Excel and billing software (e.g., Tally)

Good communication and organizational skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Qualification:

12th Pass / Graduate in Commerce or related field

1–2 years of experience in billing or accounts (preferred)

Work Environment:

Office-based role

May require coordination with multiple departments
