Job Description – Senior Accountant

Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Handling complete accounting functions including day-to-day accounting entries.

• Preparation and finalization of books of accounts.

• In-depth handling of GST compliance, including:

  • GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation)

  • Input tax credit reconciliation

  • Handling GST notices and departmental queries

• In-depth handling of TDS compliance, including:

  • Deduction of TDS as per Income Tax Act

  • Filing TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.)

  • TDS reconciliation and handling notices

• Preparation of monthly MIS reports.

• Bank reconciliation statements (BRS).

• Handling vendor and customer reconciliations.

• Assisting in statutory and internal audits.

• Coordination with auditors, consultants, and banks.

• Ensuring compliance with statutory laws and timelines.

• Maintaining proper documentation and records.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.

• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Strong working knowledge of GST and TDS is mandatory.

• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.

• Good understanding of Indian taxation and compliance.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
