Senior Accountant

Job Description: 

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the complete accounting cycle for our internal operations. This role involves hands-on work in bookkeeping, taxation (GST & TDS), account finalisation, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Indian accounting standards and taxation laws and will be comfortable using Tally ERP/Prime and Excel. The role also requires close coordination with auditors and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting. 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy 

Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, etc.) in a timely manner 

Ensure TDS compliance – deduction, payment, and quarterly return filing 

Finalise accounts and prepare financial statements for different entity types (Proprietorship, Partnership, Pvt. Ltd.) 

Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits and ensure full compliance 

Maintain ledgers, perform bank and account reconciliations, and generate MIS reports 

Proficiently use Tally ERP/Prime and Excel for all accounting functions 

Key skills – 

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and the Companies Act 

Excellent analytical and organizational abilities 

Hands-on experience in Tally ERP/Prime and MS Excel 

Good Communication skills 

Proficient in English and Hindi
