Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant to join our CA firm. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining client accounts, preparing financial statements, handling GST and TDS compliances, and assisting in taxation and audit-related work.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain books of accounts for multiple clients.

Handle Tally Prime / accounting software and ensure accurate accounting entries.

Prepare Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.

Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.

Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable returns.

Handle TDS calculations, payments and TDS returns.

Assist in income tax return preparation and tax computation.

Assist in audit and assessment-related work.

Prepare schedules and supporting documents for statutory and tax audits.

Maintain proper documentation and records of client transactions.

Coordinate with clients for pending documents, information and reconciliations.

Monitor statutory compliance due dates and follow up for timely filing.

Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve reconciliation issues.

Prepare MIS reports and other financial reports as required.

Maintain confidentiality of client financial and business information.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Accounting and Bookkeeping.

Good knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.

Practical knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.

Basic to good knowledge of Income Tax.

Knowledge of preparation of financial statements.

Good understanding of debit/credit, journal entries and reconciliations.

Good communication and client-handling skills.

Ability to manage multiple client assignments and meet deadlines.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Candidate

BCom / MCom / CA Inter / equivalent qualification.

2–5 years of relevant experience in a CA firm, accounting firm, tax consultancy or finance department.

Candidates with practical experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax and audit work will be preferred.
