Senior Accountant – Job Description
Job Title: Senior Accountant
Experience: 3–6 Years
Location: Palsana and Hazira, Surat
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong knowledge of Tally, GST, TDS, taxation, and accounting operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounts, generating reports, filing statutory returns, and ensuring timely compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
Generate MIS, accounting, sales, purchase, outstanding, and other financial reports.
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
Handle TDS return filing, deductions, and compliance.
Prepare and file GST/TDS challans and ensure timely payments.
Reconcile GST, TDS, bank, ledger, and vendor/customer accounts.
Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
Handle accounts payable/receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
Assist with monthly closing, audits, and statutory compliance.
Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all accounting activities.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP
GST return filing
TDS return filing
GST & TDS challan preparation
MIS & report generation
Bank & ledger reconciliation
Good knowledge of MS Excel
Strong accounting and taxation knowledge
Qualification: B.Com/M.Com preferred.
