Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
• Monitor and scrutinize the books of accounts every month.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in accounting systems such as Tally ERP9 / Tally Prime.
2. Compliance & Taxation
• Manage GST compliance including filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C.
• Handle TDS calculations, payments, and filing of TDS returns.
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax and other statutory regulations.
3. Audit & Internal Controls
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports and supporting documentation.
• Review accounting entries prepared by Accounts Executives to ensure accuracy and compliance.
4. Team Supervision
• Review and approve accounting entries prepared by junior team members.
• Guide and supervise the accounts team to ensure timely closure of books and statutory compliance.
