Job Title: Senior Accountant
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to handle overall accounting operations including purchase, sales, GST compliance, reconciliation, taxation, and financial reporting. The candidate should have strong accounting knowledge and the ability to manage accounts independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle purchase and sales accounting entries
Prepare and maintain GST data, returns, and reconciliations
Filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
Perform bank, vendor, customer, and GST reconciliation
Maintain accounts payable and receivable
Verify invoices, E-way bills, and taxation documents
Prepare monthly MIS and financial reports
Handle TDS calculations and related compliance
Coordinate with CA, auditors, and tax consultants
Ensure proper bookkeeping and compliance with accounting standards
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of GST and taxation
Experience in purchase, sales, and reconciliation
Knowledge of TDS and statutory compliance
Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and ERP software
Good analytical and communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Qualifications:
B.Com / M.Com / Finance background
3–5+ years of accounting experience
Preferred:
Experience in manufacturing/trading industry
Ability to handle accounts independently
