Job Description – Senior Accountant

Position

Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.

• Maintain accounts in Tally Prime and ensure accurate accounting records.

• Manage sales, purchase, receipts, payments, and journal entries.

• Perform regular bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.

• Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.

• Manage accounts receivable and payable and follow up on outstanding payments.

• Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related activities.

• Prepare monthly reports, MIS, and other financial statements as required.

• Verify expenses and ensure proper documentation and approvals.

• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and management regarding accounts-related matters.

• Ensure timely closure of books and accuracy of financial records.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.

• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

• Experience in bank reconciliation, sales & purchase accounting, and ledger management.

• Knowledge of GST and TDS will be an advantage.

• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Candidate should be responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Salary

₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
