Senior Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant who has worked in a CA firm and can independently handle accounting, taxation, finalization, and audit-related tasks. The candidate must be well-versed with statutory compliances and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and finalize books of accounts for various clients

• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) – Individual, Firm, Company, etc.

• Handle Statutory Audit, Tax Audit and related documentation

• Perform GST compliance – Returns filing, reconciliation & reporting

• Manage TDS — deduction, challan preparation & return filing

• Bank Reconciliation, Ledger scrutiny and rectifications

• Prepare financial statements – Balance Sheet, P&L, Notes to Accounts

• Assist in ROC / Company Law compliance (if required)

• Respond to notices / queries from tax departments

• Communicate with clients to collection & clarify accounting issues

• Maintain confidential and accurate financial records

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of Accounting principles & Finalization

• Experience in Audit procedures

• Well-versed in ITR, TDS, GST

• Proficiency in Accounting software

• Good Excel skills (Vlookup, Pivot, MIS reports, etc.)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

• Ability to handle multiple client files independently

• Good communication & professional behavior.
