Basic Accountant – BreakProtectionRole Overview

The Basic Accountant will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, supporting store-level accounting activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple financial transactions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

• Maintain daily accounting entries and record financial transactions accurately.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Perform bank reconciliations and cash reconciliation regularly.

Invoice & Billing Management:

• Generate invoices and ensure timely billing to customers and partners.

• Verify vendor invoices and process payments.

• Maintain proper documentation of purchase bills and expense vouchers.

GST & Compliance:

• Assist in GST filing and ensure proper maintenance of tax records.

• Maintain statutory compliance documents.

• Coordinate with auditors and CA when required.

Store-Level Financial Support:

• Monitor store collections and reconcile sales reports.

• Track daily revenue reports from stores.

• Assist in monitoring expense control across branches.

Reporting:

• Prepare basic financial reports (monthly expense report, revenue summary, outstanding payments).

• Maintain Excel-based MIS reports for management review.

Who We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.

• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.

• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).

• Experience in Tally or accounting software.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and coordination skills.
