Key Responsibilities
Accounting and Book Closure
• Manage end to end accounting operations including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and trial balance.
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including vendor reconciliation.
• Ensure timely monthly and annual closure of books with accurate documentation.
• Maintain proper records and supporting documents for all financial transactions.
· Preparing data for E-filling of GST return (ie. GSTR-1 & GST-3B)
• Ensure correct deduction of TDS across payments such as vendor, rent, professional fees, and salaries.
• Coordinate with banks for routine operational requirements and documentation.
• Assist in preparation of MIS and finance reports for management review.
• Support statutory, internal, and tax audits by providing schedules, data, and explanations.
• Coordinate with auditors and consultants to close audit queries in a timely manner.
Candidate Profile:
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in commerce.
• 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
Skills
• Strong working knowledge of accounting software such as Tally Prime.
• Clear communication skills for interaction with vendors, banks, and auditors.
• Strong ownership and accountability mindset.
