Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations, and compliance activities. The candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST/TDS, finalization of accounts, and ERP/accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Manage bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny

• Monitor accounts payable and receivable

• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances

• Assist in finalization of accounts and audit processes

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and tax consultants

• Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

• Supervise junior accounting staff and review their work

• Manage payroll accounting and expense verification

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (B.Com, M.Com)

• MBA Finance preferred

• 6–10 years of accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting standards

• Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or other ERP software

• Good command of MS Excel and financial reporting tools
